Do you think Kodak should offer a free upgrade from your Prepare software to the Preflight plug-in for Prinergy?

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,

We don't have Preflight. How well does it work compared to Flightcheck and the preflight features in the design programs like Indesign??

      Re: prepare vs preflight

I just saw a demo on it.

It has a lot of functionality, but not for a native file like InDesign. So Flightcheck would work more for the InDesign or native files, but if you can get your client to submit hi-rez pdfs, it looks like it would work really well. Especially with InSite 5.5.

You can fix files similar to Prinergy (say rgb comes in) and you can convert it with all 4 options from absolute to relative colormetric. There are tons of buttons and options, way too many scenarios to go through.

Ask your rep to demo it for you!

Will do, we want to get more out of our insite.
